KidLit Classics is a podcast where each episode one guest from the kidlit industry – be it author, bookseller, bookstagrammer, educator, librarian or publishing professional – discusses the children’s book that inspired them to follow their own path into the kidlit industry. We hear about the books that opened their eyes to the wonders of children’s literature and are the ones most close to their hearts. We discuss what the books are about, why they are so special to the hosts, how they influenced children’s literature and literary culture, and finish with a dramatic reading. KidLit Classics is foremost a celebration of great children’s books and authors, the power of books and reading, and the wonders of the kidlit community.
