As an Interior Designer and now business mentor for the interior design industry, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate a career in interior design. After having three kids, I decided to follow my passion for interior design. I knocked on every door and wouldn’t take no for an answer, but it certainly wasn’t easy. That’s why, after 13 years working in the industry, I decided to pivot my design business and move into coaching and mentoring to help other interior designers get into the industry, stay in the industry and thrive in the industry. In this podcast, I’m drawing back the curtains to share what goes on behind the scenes of running an interior design business. I want to show you that it’s possible to have an amazing design career that fits in with your family and your lifestyle. It’s one thing to be a fantastic designer, but if you don’t understand how to run a business, you simply won’t survive in this industry. So I’m here to inspire you, energise you and lift you up so that you have the confidence, skills and know-how to thrive in the interior design world.
