Join eight mighty teams from across South-East Queensland as dance mania takes over, and hundreds of people lose their sense of decorum in the fight for the ultimate reverse garbage trophy and the title of winner of the 2023 Common People Dance Eisteddfod. Egypt has the pyramids. India, the Taj Mahal. China, the Great Wall. In Queensland, we have the Common People Dance Eisteddfod. The Common People People Project follows the people behind Australia’s own great wonder of the world. The Common People People Project podcast is supported by the Creative Sparks Grant Program, an initiative of Brisbane City Council in partnership with the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland. Created by Pia Perversi-Burchall and Adam Wood, the team behind In My Country, winner of Best Interview at the 2020 Australian Podcast Awards.
